Why aren't we 100% rational?
From time to time each one of us can make a mistake, and more often than not this happens so quickly that before we realize the mistake, we take an erroneous action based on this assessment. This can lead to conflict, and it can have serious consequences if such decisions are made about the future, finances, or business. Uncomfortable, right? So why can’t we stay 100% rational? What’s in our heads? It turns out that our brains are a very complex processing center, processing large amounts of data from our senses. And evolution has optimized this center to respond to inputs with as little delay as possible in order to keep us alive in a critical situation and not miss out on the benefits that will help us thrive in the future. ...
